As part of the Lafayette community, local youth soccer club Rockwood United SC took part in the annual Homecoming Parade. The club was created by former LHS soccer coaches, Saverio Traversa and Craig Wideman, to provide better quality soccer coaching. "We want to make sure that [soccer] is taught right, because when learned correctly it's the best sport in the world," Wideman said.

In the 5.5 square mile area that was being focused on, there was an average population density of 71.5 deer per square mile, with some places having up to 94.5 deer per square mile. According to the Missouri Department of Conservation, across the state there is an average of 10-40 deer per square mile. After Wildwood's culling operation, roughly 54 deer were removed per square mile from the 5.5 mile area.

After being pulled out of class, Amyra Taneja found out she had won the Healthy Public Contest. Taneja was one of 13 people to win the award across the St. Louis area. She will now be featured in St. Louis Public Health Department (DHP)'s calendar. "I was really surprised, I knew I had won, but I didn't know how big of a deal it was.
