Simpson earns Schnucks High School Athlete of the Week

Mia Simpson, sophomore, has been named the Schnucks High School Athlete of the Week by 590 the Fan.
Simpson, Varsity field hockey player, has the stats to back it up. She has accumulated 32 points so far this season, ranking her ninth on the point leader board in the St. Louis area.
Although she has had a strong season so far, she was surprised to win the award.
“It was totally unexpected,” Simpson said. “I was so happy when it happened.”
Varsity field hockey has two games remaining this season, one on Oct. 18 and the other on Oct. 19. The team will then move on to postseason play.
