Senior and choir Homecoming chair Julia Cundy paints a banner that will go on the choirs Homecoming Parade float. Cundy has spent time after school in the choir room to prepare for the Homecoming Parade.
More than just the candy
Progress reports have been discontinued. Parents and students are encouraged to use the Infinite Campus portal to check up on grades.
Rockwood ends progress reports
One of the traditional events of HoCo Week is the parade. Various sport teams and clubs make floats.
‘Once Upon A Homecoming’
Construction on the Pool Doors is complete and student drivers and bus riders are now able to use them. However, the Pool Doors will continue to be closed to parent drop-off and pick-up.
Parent drop-off permanently limited to West Entrance
During Open House, senior class president Blake Klosterman gives a speech. The new LPAC group will be replacing class executive boards. This year, the senior executive board will remain, but they will be the last executive board group.
New Lafayette Principal’s Advisory Committee to replace class officer positions
Language arts teacher Jillian Flores won Homecoming Queen at her senior Homecoming in 2006. Flores also said her boyfriend at the time, Tyler Filmore, won Homecoming King, making the night even more special.

On Aug. 15, senior Kate Kilmer went to Mimis Prom dress shop to try on some dresses. The blue dress on the left is the dress Kilmer bought for Homecoming this year. As an influencer for the shop, Kilmer has a promo code and when people use that code, it gives her a discount on her dresses.

During the first Undefined practice of the year, Undefined captain, senior Keira Makalintal, plays an improv game. Makalintal and senior Luke Tipton became Undefined captains to develop their skills. “I prioritize experiences that are enriching for me,” Makalintal said.
New Undefined season premieres with two shows
After winning a trip to Florida, senior Josiah Hickman sits in a Blue Origin crew capsule. Hickman won his trip to Florida and Blue Origin by being named a finalist in Space for the Benefit of Earth Challenge.
Shooting for the stars
In a game against Lindbergh April 18, senior PJ Rogan was on the bump for the Lancers for four innings. While the Lancers lost this game, when they faced Lindbergh the next day, they won 17-3. Going into the May 27 State Quarterfinal game, they are 20-12-1 overall.

Attacking at the near post, senior Allie Chanski tries to squeeze the ball past the Eureka goalie. The Lady Lancers won their Battle of 109 matchup 6-0.
Girls cross country wins meet, softball falls in championship game
Embracing each other, seniors Daxton Shawke and goalkeeper Jack Burkhardt celebrate their win against Timberland. In the win, the Lancers had to go to penalty kicks to settle the score,
Soccer wins in penalty kicks, volleyball stays undefeated and dominant
Locking arms with her Ladue defender, senior Olivia Williams competes for the ball. Williams is leading the St. Louis area in goals with eight.
Senior leads in field hockey goals, soccer wins in overtime
Junior Ethan Tran serves the ball in a game against Seckman High School on April 6. They swept Seckman 3-0, with Tran leading the team in aces and serves. Overall, the Lancers placed second in the State Championship last season.
Boys volleyball becomes official sanctioned sport
The Lancers face off against Marquettes defensive line In last years season opener. The Lancers lost 21-14 to the Mustangs.
Heat advisory changes activity schedules
The legislation being introduced in Missouri and throughout the US demonizes the LGBTQ+ community. By attending drag shows and other events hosted by members of the LGBTQ+ community, it shows support and validates their experiences.
Restrictions on LGBTQ+ rights ostracize queer teens
Several students have started taking an alternative route, Eatherton Road, on their way to school each morning. Based on an experiment, Eatherton turned out to be the more successful route.

While Missouris government aims to allow citizens to carry firearms, the federal court requires states to have proper gun regulation because of the violence caused by them. The current laws that are in place are not enough.

New Pickleball Club invites students to bond through competition
Freshman Emi Limon competes in the 2022 World Kickboxing and Karate Union Championship in Wales. Even though Limon has only been doing karate for three years, he won four medals at the October competition— a gold medals in Weapons with Music and Korean Forms, a silver medal in Hardstyle Forms and a bronze medal in Weapons with no Music.
