Rockwood collective ACT score increases

The 2015 Rockwood class collectively set a new ACT high score in Missouri. This is the second time in a row that the class has beaten the previous class in score.
The Class of ’15 set a new school district record with a 23.8 which raises last years score of a 21.7 and beats 21.0, the Missouri average for a second time. The Rockwood College Readiness Benchmark also went up from previous years with a 47 percent this year and the Missouri benchmark being a 30 percent.
There were about 1,800 students from Rockwood who took the ACT in 2015.
The Lafayette school average was a 25.0, which beats both the Rockwood School District record and the Missouri average. The ACT scores of Lafayette are supplemented with excellent Advanced Placement (AP) scores. 86 percent of students that took an AP scored a 3, 61 percent scored a 4 and 31 percent scored a 5.
Along with that, 75 percent of Lafayette 2015 graduates are going to a 4-year college and 17 percent are going to 2-year college.
Both Rockwood and Lafayette have received high scores on standardized testing recently.
