Social Studies teacher Steve Klawiter will have his AP World History class take the digital exam this May. He said he looks forward to seeing how his students will perform on the exam. “Its been very clear theyre moving towards digital. Since the pandemic started, theyve been putting the pieces in place to go digital, Klawiter said. “I think that ultimately it’s going to be more beneficial because with systems like Canvas and Google Classroom, students are used to more digital activities and less handwriting activities.”

During 2023’s Trivia Night, senior Kyle Schwallie was gifted a Dairy Queen Certificate since it was his birthday. The theme for the night in 2023 was Hollywood, and this year’s theme is Time Warp Trivia.

On Feb. 24, the Class of 2026 will be hosting a trivia night in the Commons. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and trivia will begin at 7 p.m.

The event is themed “Time Warp Trivia” with questions from different generations.

To purchase a ticket, Lancers can go to the LPO website. There can be eight people per table. Each adult ticket is $25, and each student ticket is $10. These tickets include popcorn, drinks and trivia.

Along with the trivia, there will be a silent auction available with vouchers from different businesses. There will also be a 50/50 raffle. Between rounds, there will be games and prizes.

Nicole Dresser is on the Publicity Committee for Trivia Night. She encourages people to attend, as it will help fundraise for the Class of 2026.

“All profits from this event will support the Class of 2026 senior activities, including Senior Celebration,” she said.

Along with that, she thinks it’s going to be a fun night overall.

“It’ll build a sense of community within our amazing high school,” Dresser said.
