Before the student traffic arrives, parking lot attendant Barb Mullen arrives shortly after 7 a.m. and sets the cones out to block off the lanes in the first two rows. Mullen has been working at LHS for 14 years.

Parking lot attendant Barb Mullen has supervised the Lafayette High School parking lot for 12 years. Mullen arrives at 7:15 a.m. every morning to start her work for the day. Rain or shine Mullen can be found directing traffic and both before and after school to keep everyone safe. During the day, she checks the cars to make sure everyone is in the correct parking spot and has their parking tag displayed properly. She has also helped students out by letting them know if they have left their lights on or left a window down if is starts to rain. In general, she makes sure that the parking lot stays safe for student and staff vehicles.
