Chris Hejna opened Smallcakes in Chesterfield in July of 2019 after getting tired of her day job. “I just wanted a different career. I was a property inspector for insurance companies working outside. After 25 years of doing that, I just wanted to do something different,” Hejna said.
As of March 25, Smallcakes has remained open for curbside pickup through the COVID-19 pandemic.
