Baseball team earns second win of the season

On March 27, the Lancer baseball team defeated Fort Zumwalt South in a 5-4 victory at home. In the victory, senior Justin Congiu, junior Ty Stauss and sophomore John Kramer each hit a home run. After finishing last season with a 16-10 record and claiming the District title over Marquette, the Lancers have opened this season with a 2-0 record, and their next game is on April 1 at 4:15 p.m. at home against Parkway West.
On April 9, the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) released a statement declaring an end to all spring sports events. While the correct choice, the decision will impact sports at Lafayette in many ways.
