On Friday, March 11, the Senior Advisory will be holding the first ever Movie Night for kids in Elementary school. It will take place in the Gymnasium from 7-9 p.m. and the price for entry is $3;concessions will be offered.
“We’re showing Despicable Me,” Leanna Cates, Senior Class President said.
According to Cates, the event is a charity project, as all of the proceeds go to Living Water International. Living Water International is a Christian charity that provides water for those who don’t have access to clean drinking water.
The charity event is completely run by the students, which Allie Steele, Senior Class Treasurer, is excited about.
“It’s really cool that it’s the students doing everything,” Steele said.
Steele, along with the rest of the Advisory, hopes that by the end of the night, they can help people with the money they raise.
“I hope it makes a difference and that we have a lot of kids come,” Steele said.
