The boys lacrosse team ended their season under the Christian Brothers College’s lights Thursday night, May 16 in a 15-5 loss against the Cadets.
Although the team lost the District game which would have given them a place in the final four, they weren’t lacking in determination; the Lancers fought hard until the final seconds of the fourth period. The team finished strong, with 10 wins and seven losses and 141 goals total, 39 assists and 180 points.
In their last season as a Lancer before they head off to college, seniors Taylor Becht, JD Casias, Jeremy Crowe, Shawn Higginbotham, Nick Lowary, Kyle Morton, Jake Pyatt, Jack Taylor and Grant Willoughby gave it their all.
However, juniors Justin Ruck and Tim Slocum dominated this season. Ruck had 41 points total and Slocum was one short of forty.
