Leading the way into the Suburban West Conference championship, the Lancers are currently first in the league as they hold an impressive record at 7-0 and 21-4 overall.

Although the team falls short in offensive play with Parkway South averaging 60.4 points per game, the Lancers show dominance in defensive play averaging 44.0 points allowed.

This season Eureka has compiled a record of 8-16 overall, and is currently in 5th place right behind Marquette. It looks like the Lancers may be having a come back after last year’s devastating loss to Eureka in the District championship.

Last night, Feb. 25, the Lancers continued their success after beating Fox against (9-12) Lindbergh at home. The boys dominated both offense and defense, concluding the game with a score of 58-35. The senior players, cheerleaders and Escadrille members took the court at 6:30 p.m. with their parents as they walked across the court on Senior Night.

The last game of the regular season will take place tomorrow, Feb. 27, against McCluer away. So far this year, the Comets have struggled to score baskets with a record of 3-15. The Lancers hope to focus on their game and end on a high note before District competition.
