Previous season placement: The Lancers won the MSHSAA Class 6 State Championship and finished with a 32-5 record last year.
Goals for the season: Young said the team will improve this year and play their best volleyball in the postseason.
Players to watch: Young mentioned returning All-State starters senior libero Addy Wiese and junior outside hitter Shaye Witherspoon. Along with them, Young also mentioned seniors Amira Konuk, Jenna Kraemer, Claire Ulrich and Emma Watson, juniors Peyton Dolly, Aubrey Dumstorff, Hailey Lowery and Adayah Sievers, sophomore Gigi Foley and freshman Aubrey Toti.

What makes this team different: “The potential in this group is enormous. If our players accept their roles and push to be better everyday, we’re going to be a special team this year,” Young said.
