Sport: boys soccer
Head coach: Ryan Butchart
Previous season placement: The Lancers finished 13-8 last season and made it to the MSHSAA Class 4 District 2 semifinal, but lost to CBC, 6-0.
Goals for the season: Butchart said the team plans to win a district championship and score more goals this season.
Players to watch: Butchart mentioned seniors TJ Bender, Thomas Nay and Carter Philips along with sophomore Kanin Roseman as key players this season.
What makes this team different: “I think with the speed and athleticism we have in this group, it’s going to be a fun team to watch play,” Butchart said. “We’re going to be go, go, go, and it will be very easy for spectators to enjoy it.”

[Families] actually having the opportunity to have their kids on the field with us is the most important aspect,” Ben Lundt said.](https://lancerfeed.press/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG_6823-1200x800.jpg)
