Up until this point, all of our newsmagazines have been published exclusively here, on our website. This issue is the first one this year that we have made the decision to print and distribute physical copies of.

It seems fitting that our first printed issue of the year’s theme is “on the record” as it is the first time we as a staff this year have gone “on the record” physically. But the truth is, our whole lives have been on the record.

How we are recorded in history is how all of us will be remembered. Our legacy is on the line, the
pressure is increasing and our words will continue to live forever. The question is, what do you want on the record?

For some, it’s going down in Lafayette history by setting sports records, for others it’s carrying out the legacy of a lost family member. However you choose to go on the record will be the telling of your story for generations, it’s up to you to decide how you want to be remembered.

And, as long as you have stories to tell, we will be here to record them.
