On Thursday, Nov. 13 Lafayette administrators and teachers will hold the annual McTeacher’s Night at the McDonald’s on Manchester and Clarkson Roads from 5- 8 p.m. Students and parents are welcome to come support Lafayette.

Fifteen percent of all the proceeds will go to Lafayette and Renaissance. For the event, Lafayette staff members will be on hand to work hand in hand with the McDonald’s staff.

“We actually have teachers and staff members from Lafayette who work. They’ll bag your food, they’ll check you out at the cash register,” coordinator of McTeacher Night and business teacher Matt Landwehr said.

Two Rockwood elementary schools raised $750 for their schools in a three hour time frame and Landwehr is hopeful Lafayette’s turnout and success rate could be equivalent.

“It’s a lot of fun,” Landwehr said, “Show up. Eat a lot!”
