Out and About: Llywelyn’s Pub

Out and About: Llywelyns Pub

Why it took so long for there to be a pub with an outdoor patio in this area baffles me. But finally someone realized this opportunity and Llywelyn’s was born.

Llywelyn’s Pub is located in the Wildwood town center, a perfect location considering its close proximity to the Lafayette community and how busy the town center is on a regular basis.

The weather was not permitting when I went with my parents, but the outdoor patio looks like it will be a big hit for the summer. There is an outdoor bar and a good amount of seating. Llywelyn’s also offers what some bars don’t; call ahead seating.

When choosing an appetizer the welsh potato chips are the way to go. They are homemade potato chips served with your choice of  pepper cheese or rarebit sauce.

When it comes to entres there are a number of endless selections including burgers, sandwiches and what they call “traditional pub fare” which includes shepards pie and Irish stew.

There are a good number of tv’s, a vital necessity for any pub, along with table top seating and a a sizeable indoor bar.

I am almost positive that Llywelyn’s will be one of the summer hot spots for watching baseball and any other sporting events.

It’s great that a pub finally opened up in the Wildwood area, nonetheless one with a good amount of outdoor seating and good food just in time for the summer rush.
