Over the next week, Lafayette students will be occupied with the events leading up to Homecoming Dance on Oct. 12 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.

On Oct. 6, students will kick off the week by participating in the Fun Run.

Beginning on Oct. 7, there will  be dress up days throughout the week. Monday is pajamas, Tuesday is tie-dye, Wednesday is very 90’s and Friday is back in black.

Hall decorations will take place on Oct. 8 where each grade will design the hallways to represent this year’s homecoming theme, Back to the 90’s. The senior hall will represent 90’s movies, the junior hall will represent 90’s video games, the sophomore hall will represent 90’s TV sitcoms and the freshman hall will represent 90’s music and fashion.

The Powder Puff game is going to be on Oct.11 where the senior girls will face off against the junior girls playing football. The halftime show will consist a performance from the Male Escadrille.

The Lafayette parade will follow the Homecoming Pep Assembly on Oct. 11. Then, the varsity football team will take on SLUH at 7 p.m.

Tickets for the dance will go on sale Oct. 8 for Renaissance members for a 10 percent discount. On Oct, 9 and 10, tickets will go on sake for all students for a price of 10 dollars for a single ticket, and 20 dollars for a couple ticket. On Oct. 11, single tickets will cost 15 dollars and couple tickets will cost 30 dollars.
