While having a similar environment and menu to Kaldi’s and St. Louis Bread Company, Lone Wolf Coffee Company goes much farther in terms of offering patrons a great experience. The cafe is located at 15480 Clayton Road, the south side of Clayton, just west of Kehrs Mill Road.
The most noticeable aspect of Lone Wolf is the environment. The lighting, music and decor all contribute to a moody, bluesy atmosphere.
The cafe serves as a venue, having local blues and jazz musicians play just about every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night.
There are several specialty drinks along with the traditional coffee. Espressos ranging from chocolate and caramel to French vanilla are available with steamed milk and whipped cream.
The menu has a lot of variety, offering breakfast food, soups, salads, sandwiches, pizzas and even grilled cheese. Some items on the menu are a little pricier than competitors, but the food is of fantastic quality and worth the steeper price.
Lone Wolf offers a great experience pretty much the entire day, for breakfast, lunch, dinner and the late night. It is a great place to eat for a fair price with friends, and get a taste of great music.
