Anthony Engle discusses acting aspirations

Most students have participated in some form of acting, be in a grade school play or musical, or some form of in class presentation being a character from history but very few take acting as a serious career aspiration and even fewer have the level of experience as junior Anthony Engle. Even with all his experience under his belt Engle is still looking towards further success in acting.

lhsimage.com asked him a few questions about his aspirations as an actor.

What first got you interested or involved in acting?
I was two [years old], the owner of Pasta House introduced my dad to his wife who ran a talent agency, ever sense that meeting I’ve been doing various forms of acting and modeling.”

What king of acting do you enjoy the most, and why?
I enjoy playing dramatic and villainous roles, I have a good sense of humor but not much of a comedian, with dramatic and villainous roles I can connect more emotionally with the audience and really flesh the character out and something or someone the audience should be interested in.”

Who do influenced you the most as an actor and why?
My Dad has influenced me more then anyone else when it comes to my acting, without him I wouldn’t have gotten my start into acting and he is the one who drove me to all the auditions and head shots and more then anyone else has helped get my career to the point it is at now.”

What different kinds of acting experience do you have?
I’ve done various forms of acting, including Shakespearean Plays, I’ve been in a film (Alice Upside Down) different musical theatre and most recently the voice of the plant in our most recent school play.”

Where do you hope your acting leads you?
1. The Bank 2. An Academy Award 3. Not to get to cheesy but my future wife 4. Did I mention the bank?”
