Student travels the world

Having traveled around the world from the Americas to Asia, junior Eric Pan has had a very unique life compared to most students. Pan, who was born in China, has gone with his family to many different countries, and said he has had great experiences.

Q. What is your favorite place that you have been to?
Austria. Is has one of the best hotel services in the world. The breakfast is amazing. They have everything.

Q. How often do visit China?
Every year. It is not as bad as people say it is. You can drink whatever you want. It’s strict, but I don’t feel any different there than here.

Q. Why do you travel so much?
My parents think I should be able to see the world and not just sit in one place. They want me to experience new places and perspectives.

Q. What is the strangest country you have been to?
Switzerland probably. They have a mix of different languages and cultures. It’s very expensive, barely anyone is overweight and they have looser morals.

Q. Do you prefer being elsewhere rather than here?
Yeah, because everything here is about money. People don’t care about just people anymore. One time I asked for directions from a guy, and he asked me to pay him before he told me.
