At the 2023 Prom, Class of 2023 graduates Joe Marlo and Will Barry stay at the edge of the main floor to do their dancing. Because the small dance floor was the most crowded area, many students gathered around the edges with friends or in small groups.

Baseball to start season in Sedalia

Baseball to start season in Sedalia

This weekend, the Lancer baseball squad will travel to Sedalia, Mo for a tournement. This will be their first chance to get out on the field, as it’s their first games of the season.

The weather has prevented the Lancers from getting in their first game, and is threatening to delay it once again.

According to the National Weather Society, Sedalia has over a 50%  chance of thunderstorms Saturday night and Sunday.

Although the chances are 50/50, the varsity club has to travel nearly three hours on a bus, so a rain out would be devastating to the Lancers.

Junior Peter Williams said, “It’s okay though, the bus rides are usually hella fun!”

The weather conditions have also forced the team to practice indoors which has limited some of the things they can practice. Their hoping their luck will change this upcoming weekend, and get a chance to test their abilities out on the field.
