The pizza trays in the Cafeteria are being replaced with eco-friendly sheets.
Cafeteria Manager Wendie Bening said the sheets are less expensive than the trays. This is significant because of the tight budget in the school.
Also, they are easier to put on lunch trays because they don’t take up much space.
But, various students the Imagetalked with were not fans of the new serving sheets.
Sophomore Sarah Goodman said, “They’re a joke. They need to go back to the trays.”
In addition, sophomore Megan Pregler said, “I don’t like them. They burn your hand.”
Other students observe the sheets not being supportive enough causing lots of people to drop their food.
There are only a couple packs left of the pizza sheets. Bening says she couldn’t find the place she originally ordered the sheets. So, the sheets may or may not last for much longer depending if more boxes are ordered.
