Many people are finding inconveniences with using their glasses: their face mask for the coronavirus keeps causing their glasses to fog up. This can make for dangerous vision impairment. Removing the glasses repeatedly to clean them can involve touching the face, which increases exposure risk for COVID-19.

Sophomore Hailey Fitts plays in the finals for a chance to play for second or third place in her bracket at Multonmah Athletics Club in Portland, Oregon. I lost in my final game but I was just so happy to be at such a high level as a sophomore, Fitts said. It gives me a lot of hope for the future as a passionate athlete.

Varsity girls number one seed, sophomore Hannah Werk, and mixed doubles partner Will Sherman battle against Parkway Wests mixed doubles team. Parkway defeated the Lafayette mixed doubles team, Hannah said, I was more composed this year compared to last year, and it really helped me already having been to a big tournament like this.

With the first day coming to an end, teammates Janka Gerber and Maggie Leath tend to their injuries. By night three I was so sore and all the ligaments in my arm were inflamed, Gerber said. The only thing that kept me moving was continuous stretching and motivation from my teammates.
