To continue the discussion on the cover story from the newspaper, we asked people if they could go to dinner with any person dead or alive, who would it be?

If you could take any person to dinner dead or alive, who would it be?

Paul McCartney

Why would you take that person?

“It would be very interesting to talk to him, seeing as he was alive before rock and roll was a big deal and after it was in full swing.”

Where would you go?

“Well McCartney is a vegan, so probably go to a garden somewhere.”

What would you have for dinner?

“I would eat carrots and other vegetables.”

What would you talk about?

“We would discuss all of his music, his experiences with it and the future of it.”

If you could take any person to dinner dead or alive, who would it be?

Mohamed Farrah – Long distance runner

Why would you take that person?

“ I would take Farrah because he is a very inspirational distance runner. I run cross country and long distance track, so I think it’d be really cool to meet someone and talk about what their life was like when they’re only running and dedicating their whole life to it.”

Where would you go?

“We would go to Crazy Bowls and Wraps, because there is food and I can eat there.”

What would you have for dinner?

“I would eat a chicken Caesar bowl because it is gluten free and is awesome. Also, because it is healthy.”

What would you talk about?

“We would talk about all things running! How to race and mainly how to train professionally.”

Joe Wright, director of Pride & Prejudice, Anna Karenina and Pan

Why would you take that person?

“He makes great movies and I want to study film when I get older. When I first watched his movies, they became some of my favorite. I loved how each of his movies followed a similar color scheme.”

Where would you go?

“I would go to Ono Sushi in Hamburg, Germany, my hometown.”

What would you have for dinner?

“I would eat spicy california rolls and seaweed salad because those are my favorite things to get there.”

What would you talk about?:

“I would ask him a lot of questions about the specifics of making movies. What type of lenses to use in scenes, the coloring of scenes, etc.”

If you could take any person to dinner dead or alive, who would it be?

Abe Lincoln

Why would you take that person?

“He was a pretty cool president. I liked what he did during the civil war. I would choose him because he fought for slavery abolishment and was overall a cool dude. He had a pretty rough life but he pulled through, its kinda inspirational.”

Where would you go?

“There are some good  burger joints, I think Abe would potentially be a burger man. I’d like to go to a Whataburger out in Texas, great food and a good representation of today.”

What would you have for dinner?

“Burgers.”

What would you talk about?

“We’d talk about America. I would ask him his opinion regarding current laws and situations. Also, I would ask him about things going on with the news and media, If he’s not too freaked out by all this modern technology. He’d probably impart some wise words about current issues and his opinions on them.”

Chris Kyle

Why would you take that person?

“He had such an life inspiring story and I would want to learn more about his time in Iraq and Afghanistan. Chris Kyle had the highest kill record of snipers in Afghanistan in the city of Ramadi.”

Where would you go?

“We would eat at Buffalo Wild Wings. I think he would like that.”

What would you have for dinner?

“I would eat a burger. The burgers at BWW are really good.”

What would you talk about?

“I would talk about their times in their deployments and their life story about things they did.”

Why would you take that person?

I would take him because I feel like he would tell me the secrets of how he gets across the world so fast. Plus, if I took him out to dinner, he might give me more stuff that I want for Christmas.”

Where would you go?

“We would go to Taco Bell because I feel like he has never been before, and it’s one of my favorite places to eat.”

What would you have for dinner?

“I would give him Doritos Locos Tacos because they are my favorite.”

What would you talk about?

“We would talk about how much he likes the Doritos Locos Tacos, and the exact car parts I want and other things I want for Christmas.”
