Social Studies teacher Steve Klawiter will have his AP World History class take the digital exam this May. He said he looks forward to seeing how his students will perform on the exam. “Its been very clear theyre moving towards digital. Since the pandemic started, theyve been putting the pieces in place to go digital, Klawiter said. “I think that ultimately it’s going to be more beneficial because with systems like Canvas and Google Classroom, students are used to more digital activities and less handwriting activities.”

Busch Stadium to hold SEMO vs. SIU rival football game

Busch Stadium is one of the most sought after venues for special events in St. Louis. Since the opening in 2006, Busch Stadium has hosted thousands of different events ranging from weddings, corporate meetings and charity events to one-of-a-kind concerts like the Dave Mathews Band, the Eagles and U2.

On Monday, April 15, 2013, the St. Louis Cardinals announced that longtime rivals Southeast Missouri State and Southern Illinois University will play each other at Busch Stadium this year.

This will be the second major non-baseball event and the first ever football game to be held at the stadium.

The teams are set to play Saturday, Sept. 21 and kickoff is planned for 1 p.m.

“We are thrilled to host our first football game in Busch Stadium with two great schools that have such a large following in St. Louis,” said Bill DeWitt III, President of the Cardinals. “We are excited to showcase the versatility of Busch Stadium as a multi-use sports venue.”

Tickets go on sale on June 3.
