On Tuesday, March 6, the Voluntary Student Transfer Program will hand out the Voluntary Interdistrict Choice Corporation (VICC) awards to deserving city students at the annual Salute to Excellence Ceremony at St. Louis University.
The VICC program recognizes students who had perfect attendance and a high-level grade point average for the fall semester of the 2011-2012 school year.
Prinicipal John Shaughnessy commented on the event as, “an evening of opportunity to provide recognition to certain city students that have stood out from the rest.”
