The boys lacrosse team waited out the rain on April 7 to finish their match against Kirkwood. The stormy weather did not affect the team’s performance as they won 8-3 over the Pioneers.
The Lancers maintained a one-point lead against the Pioneers for the entire first half, but it wasn’t until the third quarter when the team racked up another four goals to add to their lead. The last and final goal in the fourth quarter served just as insurance as the team won by five.
Juniors, Justin Ruck and Tim Slocum both went off in the game, both going for a hat trick on the game. Slocum was named player of the game with three goals and two assists.
