Messer named First-Team All-State

On March 26, Lafayette senior basketball player Mike Messer was named First-Team All-State by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association (MBCA). Messer was rewarded for a season in which he led the Suburban West with a 19.6 scoring average.

In addition, he was names as one of 60 senior boys named by the MBCA as an Academic All-State Student Athlete. He will be honored on April 18 at the University of Missouri Reynolds Alumni Center.

“It’s an honor to be named with all those great players,” Messer said.
