At the 2023 Prom, Class of 2023 graduates Joe Marlo and Will Barry stay at the edge of the main floor to do their dancing. Because the small dance floor was the most crowded area, many students gathered around the edges with friends or in small groups.

Field hockey plans to ‘Stick it to Cancer’

On Oct. 6, varsity field hockey will host their first annual ‘Stick it to Cancer’ benefit game against Parkway West.

The game will be played at home at 5:30 p.m. to allow other athletes and parents to attend.

The team will be collecting donations during lunch in the days prior to the game, and although admission is free, donations are greatly encouraged. All donations will go directly to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure.

The team will wear pink shirts at the game and have designated Oct. 6 as school-wide ‘Pink Day’, encouraging all students and staff to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness.
