After starting the season a perfect 10-0, the Lady Lancers rolled through the Suburban West Conference Tournament the week of Sept. 20 and took first place by 10.5 points. In the 16-team field, Clayton was the runner-up with seven points, Parkway South came in third with six and Ladue rounded out the top four with 5.5.
It was the largest margin of victory in tournament history since the Conference adopted its current format. Equally as impressive was that every member of the team earned a medal.
The results are as follows:
- Upper Doubles – Freshman Haleigh Chobanian won the flight, taking all three matches. Freshman Arianna Demos won two of her three matches and took the consolation.
- Lower Singles – Sophomore Theresa Brands won the flight, winning all three matches. Megan Mange took second place.
- Upper Doubles – Maddie Roll and Jackie Legner won second place. Sophomores Chelsea Weise and Julia Vranas came in third place. Both teams had their only loss to the flight winners.
- Lower Doubles – Senior Grace Woessner and junior Morgan Schaper won the flight. Senior Chelsea Coleman and junior Anne Perry finished second
This was the team’s third tournament victory of the season. The Lady Lancers will next face Parkway Central on Sept. 27.

[Families] actually having the opportunity to have their kids on the field with us is the most important aspect,” Ben Lundt said.](https://lancerfeed.press/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG_6823-1200x800.jpg)
