I love seeing my own and my staff’s visions come to life in our Yearbook. Opening the book for the first time is a feeling like nothing else, knowing your heart and soul went into every aspect.

![Entering the competition as a FACS Department, their costumes are representative of stay-at-home moms from the 50s. They followed up their costumes with a dance performance dedicated to their theme. FACS teacher Lauren Arnet believes their theme helps go against some FACS stereotypes. "A lot of people equate FACS with old school home economics, where it’s just women who stay home with babies, cook and sew [but] it’s evolved a lot. Now we have housing and interior design and learn more about child development.
