Girls swimming and diving places 13th at State

Despite having to replace several key members of last year’s State-championship team, the Lady Lancers stormed through the regular season undefeated and captured their 26th consecutive Conference championship.

However, the team fell short of last year’s tremendous accomplishment and placed 13th with a total of 69 points. Here is a list of Lafayette swimmers and divers who placed in the final round of the Missouri Girls Swimming Diving Championships on Feb. 19.

200 Freestyle: Mae Riordan places 10th (1:57.31)

Diving: Alyssa Shaw places 15th (301.5)

100 Butterfly: Taylor Paskoff places 7th (59.23)

500 Freestyle: Mae Riordan places 10th (5:11.50)

200 Freestyle Relay: Lafayette places 12th (1:42.02)
