The Lancer swimming and diving team continued their winning streak on Sept. 10 at the Marquette Relays.
The team took home first place with a score of 268 points, 24 points ahead of their nearest competition.
The highlight of the meet for the Lancers was the 900 yard progression relay. Sophomore Patrick Vega, junior Jon Glaser and senior Alec Morgan set a new meet record of 8:17.99 during prelims on Sept. 9, breaking the record they set together at the relays in 2010.
In the finals on Sept. 10, the boys broke the record again with a time of 8:14.24 to earn them first place in the relay.
The team also took first place in the 200 freesyle relay, 400 yard freestyle relay and 300 yard backstroke relay.
Senior divers Patrick Lee, Ty McLean and Michael Porter competed prior to the swim events on Sept. 10, earning third place.
The Lancers swimming and diving team compete next against Oakville at 4:15 p.m. Sept. 13 in the Lafayette pool.
