Lafayette extended their perfect start to the season on Sept. 27 with a 47-7 win over Pattonville, away from home. Senior quarterback Jack Behl threw for 302 yards and two touchdowns while senior wide receiver Robby Preckel had 6 receptions for 145 yards, and junior Brady Micek had 96 receiving yards from 5 receptions according to St. Louis Post Dispatch.
With this win, the Lancers have scored 105 points in their last two games while only allowing seven points. They currently hold a 5-0 record, which is their best start to the season since their 2012 season. That season, the Lancers went undefeated during the regular season but lost to the Francis Howell Vikings in the State semi-final.
