At the 2023 Prom, Class of 2023 graduates Joe Marlo and Will Barry stay at the edge of the main floor to do their dancing. Because the small dance floor was the most crowded area, many students gathered around the edges with friends or in small groups.

Lancers look to tame Lions

After a stifling 3-0 start, the Lancers travel to Northwest High School in search of their fourth consecutive win.

Senior quarterback Matt Goro has thrown for 284 yards and three touchdowns so far on the year. Goro has also completed 50 percent of his passes.

The run game for the Lancers is not one to overlook for opponents. Senior Deonte Robinson and junior Evan Scales have led the way for the team.

Robinson has rushed for 296 yards and reached the end zone 6 times. Scales is averaging an astounding 14.3 yards per carry. Both are looking to do some damage to the Northwest defense.

The Northwest Lions haven’t started the season off on the right foot, failing to come out with a victory in any of their three games.

They have lost their three games by a total score of 28-114. The Lancers, on the other hand, have won their three games by a total score of 129-21.

The powerful offense of the Lancers looks to pile up the points against the Lions tonight at 7 p.m. attempting to remain undefeated.
