Lancer sports kick-off with Fall Sports Night at 6:30 p.m. in the Back Gym. Activities Director Steve Berry will begin the evening with a discussion of MSHSAA and Rockwood rules and regulations for participation by student athletes.
Berry will also mention important facts regarding the training staff and maintaining the health of the fall athletes, as well as going over eligibility policies.
Next, individual teams will split up and begin scrimmages at 7 p.m. There will also be meetings in individual classrooms for parents to gather more information about their child’s sport.
Berry said the parents have been very supportive of the athletic program. He also said Lafayette has some great coaches and student athletes for the fall season.
