Three lettering members returned for the 2011 golf season, including seniors Claire Norfleet, Maddie Van House and junior Ashton Goldammer.
At the Lindbergh Invitational, senior Claire Norfleet medaled for the team. The team placed first overall.
On Wednesday, Sept. 21, the team won the Conference title at Aberdeen Golf Club. The Suburban West Conference teams include Eureka, Fox, Lafayette, Lindbergh, Marquette, Mehlville, Northwest, Oakville and Parkway South.
The Lady Lancers were the only team with four players shooting under 100. Lafayette scored 369 was led by Norfleet and Van House, who shared third in the indivual standings.
Senior leader Van House said, “We expect to win Districts and hope to continue to stay as a team all the way to State.”
According to Van House, the team’s biggest competition is Ursuline High School.
