The Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) competed in the Lakeworth Florida drill meet in the first week of December.
At the meet, the team performed two different routines; one routine they made up on their own and the other routine was a routine regulated from the military that all the high schools performed. Overall, the team placed fifth.
AFJROTC was in Florida for a week, and they spent most of their time practicing, but they were able to relax some days on the beach.
Junior Aubrey Scott attended the competition.
“It went pretty good and it was really fun. Though we only got fifth place, we tried our hardest and that’s all that matters,” Scott said.
