Lost and found items to be donated on Friday

Lost and found items to be donated on Friday

Any items in the lost and found on Friday, Oct. 21 will be donated if they have not yet been picked up.

Lynn Van Oyen, Welcome Center receptionist, said, “We go through [lost and found items] and make sure nothing has names on it and if it does, we call them down, and if not, we will give it to ROTC to donate.”

When asked what kind of items are in the lost and found, Van Oyen said there is everything ranging from shoes, coats and lunch boxes, to specific items like a lacrosse helmet.

“We don’t put books or notebooks in [the lost and found], however. We try to find names in those right away,” Van Oyen said.

The lost and found is located in the Welcome Center, and students are encouraged to go and look through items if they believe they have lost anything.
