It’s the last chance for juniors to take advantage of the opportunity to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program, and for sophomores to prepare for next year.
Sophomores and juniors can sign up take the PSAT/NMSQT from Sept. 19-23 at the Commons during all lunch shifts or on Sept.22 during Parent Teacher Conferences.
The fee is $20 and can be cash or a check payable to Lafayette High School.
The test takes place on Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 8-11:30 a.m. Juniors will test at Logan College of Chiropractic and sophomores will test at Lafayette. Bring pencils, erasers, calculators, and dress comfortably.
Finalists of the National Merit Scholarship Program can qualify for corporate or college sponsored scholarships, along with the National Merit $2500 scholarships and special scholarships.
