Join Class Advisory to help out your class

Class Advisory is available as an opportunity for students to be involved with their class and help plan events for Homecoming and class fundraisers.

Freshman Advisory is run by Assistant Principal Mandy Lewis and Gretchen Whelan, science teacher. Meetings are held in Room 243 every Monday at 7:45 a.m.

Sophomore Advisory is run by Assistant Principal Dr. Kirti Mehrotra and Lisa Donovan, language arts teacher. They meet in Room 154 on Mondays at 7:45 a.m. Until January, the meetings are usually held weekly due to Homecoming planning, canned food drives and family adoptions that require constant attention.

“After Christmas the meetings tend to slow down,” Mehrotra explained.

Second semester, Sophomore Advisory will meet monthly at the same time.

Junior Advisory is run by Assistant Principal Matt Dieckhaus and Todd Decker, science teacher. They meet in Room 241 at 7:45 on Mondays that work for Decker.

Assistant Principal Dr. Tim Jones runs Senior Advisory with the help of sponsors Chris Ramsay, college admissions counselor; Lori Sanders, FACS teacher; and Martin Taylor, industrial tech teacher. Meetings are held in Room 180 once a month on Fridays.

Class advisory fundraisers help raise money toward the end of the year celebration held after senior graduation.
