On Sunday Sept. 25, Homecoming Week began with the annual Fun Run. In the past, the event has only consisted of a 5K run, but this year, a one mile walk was added.
Some students who participated in the one mile walk chose to walk dogs or push strollers holding Child Development babies alongside them.
The 5K weaved through neighborhoods along Clayton Road in the vicinity of the school.
The first 250 participants to arrive at the Stadium received a free event T-shirt. Student Council sponsor David Choate said there were 460 participants in all.
The Freshman Class had the most participants, followed by the Senior Class.
