Although the form reads that it is due on Dec. 1, junior secretary Mary Miller affirms that they are actually due on Dec. 6 because the announcements did not start until late last week.
Some students did not know about it because they did not hear the announcements.
Junior Alison Steele said, “I didn’t know because my third hour is really loud and obnoxious so I can’t hear the announcements.”
However, students like sophomore Rachel Wuestling, heard about it through friends.
But the overall consensus is that not enough time was given to be able to make a good decision about which class to exempt.
“They need to give it to you right before so you know whether you really have an A or not,” sophomore Stephanie Brewer said.
Sophomore Mary Augustin agreed, “It’s too early.”
Regardless, the forms are due to your grade-level office on Dec. 6 by 4 p.m. Forms can be picked up in grade-level offices.
