Country music fans across the country dream of traveling to Nashville Tennessee to attend the Country Music Awards (CMAs) every year.  Julia Jesielowski, sophomore, is one fan who had the opportunity to experience this in November.

Jesielowski said that she was able to get tickets to the event through her mom’s college friend, who helped line up some of the bands that played.

Although she was not a huge fan of country music before attending the CMAs, Jesielowski said, “This just helped make me listen to [country music] more.”

Another one of Jesielowski’s favorite parts of the event was meeting famous country singers.

“I met Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum and Craig Morgan,” she said.  Lady Antebellum is one of Jesielowski’s favorite country singers, so she said this was an amazing experience.

Jesielowski had seats that were located on the second of four floors in the stadium.  Even though she didn’t have front row seats, Jesielowski still loved the CMAs.

“It was an enjoyable, once-in-a-lifetime experience,” she said.
