Papi’s Pizza offers New York style pizza

If you’re in the mood for pizza, subs or ice cream in a New York Style environment, Papi’s Pizza Place is the place for you.

Papi’s opened in November of 2009 and has been popular ever since.

Because of their location on New College Avenue, near the Wildwood campus of St. Louis Community College, Scott Chervitz, Papi’s general manager, said students often have lunch at Papi’s or grab a bite to eat between classes.

When someone eats at Papi’s, they can choose from 30 toppings or choose to have one of their specialty pizzas, such as Papi’s Supreme or the Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza.

When asked why Papi’s is different from any other pizza restaurant, Chervitz said, “We are not St. Louis style; we have New York style [pizza].”

Papi’s will soon have a party room to accommodate large groups.  This should be completed in September or October.  The party room will include an arcade as well.

Also, Papi’s is up to date with technology.  Chervitz said that you can text “Papispizza” to 41411 and receive a special offer.  Customers can even place their order online at www.getpapis.com.

Chervitz said throughout the fall, Papi’s will be conducting “Papi’s Fan of the Game” at varsity football games.  Ten small pizzas will be handed out and 10“Fan of the Game” T-shirts will be thrown into the crowd.
