This season has been a season of growth for boys tennis. The team is led by first seed Franco Noseda Olivari, second seed Carson Krone, third seed Drew Davis and fourth seed Vladimir Trifunovic.

They currently have a record of 11-6 in spite of their rough start.

Krone said, “We had a rough start, but then we got our lineup figured out.”

They started off the season 2-3, losing to Marquette and Edwardsville in blowout fashion (7-2 and 9-0 losses respectively), and Dunlap in a close set of games.

They then proceeded to win nine of their next 12 to end up at 11-6.

They started District play on May 9, where they headed to Parkway South to face rival Eureka. The Wildcats were defeated handily, 5-0. They then defeated Parkway West in the second round 5-4 in a close match.

Today, May 11, they face Marquette, hoping to avenge their loss from earlier in the season.
