The list of 2016 Rockwood Outstanding Service in Education (ROSE) Award nominees has been revealed. The list of 150 nominees includes Lafayette staff members Suzanne Cadwell, Brenda Eckelcamp, Cheryl Egan, Jennifer Ingram, Chris Lofgren, Meghan O’Donnell and Sandy Schilling-Gal.

“The ROSE award is an annual award that our district gives to district employees or to people associated with the district. They are nominated for their service, dedication, professionalism, commitment to school and our district,” Principle John Shaughnessy said.

The ROSE award can be given to anyone who has participated within the school district, including parent volunteers, faculty members and support staff.

At the end of the school year, a ROSE Selection Committee will select 15 ROSE Award recipients out of the nominees.

The ROSE Award Ceremony will be held at the Doubletree Hotel St. Louis on May 1. The Rockwood website states that winners will receive a plaque and be presented the award at the ceremony.
