Reddy aces ACT

Rithik Reddy, junior, is the second student this year at Lafayette to receive a perfect 36 on his ACT.  Although Reddy didn’t take a practice test before this one, he thinks they are a huge asset to getting a good score on the ACT.

“The best way to study for these types of tests, in my opinion, are taking a bunch of practice tests because they are definitely the best way to understand the material,” Reddy said.

He also has some other study tips for each subject for those that are struggling with getting those scores up.

“For English and reading, the best way is just learning grammar and then practicing it plus reading books. For math and science there’s no real way to study for them, but to just keep practicing in school like the classes that we have,” Reddy said.

With that being said, Reddy feels as though a weight has been lifted off his shoulders after getting the 36.

“I’m mostly relieved. It’s not really the end of anything because there are still grades, but it’s something that encourages me,” Reddy said.
