Lancers host special flag football charity game

A special charity flag football game will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Lafayette High School stadium on Wednesday, Sept. 7.
All four Rockwood high schools will participate and staff members and local St. Louis County police officers will compete against each other on four teams.
Donations of any size are appreciated upon entrance of the stadium and throughout the event.
Football players and coaches from all four high schools will be present.
All of the proceeds will be donated to Ballwin police officer Michael Flamion who was shot in the line of duty during a traffic stop on July 8. He is paralyzed from the neck down due to the ambush shooting.
Concessions will also be available at the event which will consist of two 25-minute games pitting the high school staffs against one another.
