The Lady Lancers girls volleyball team hasn’t taken their foot off the gas pedal since our last update on them as they have tacked on four more wins since then. The teams next challenge lies in the Ozark tournament that will be taking place on Oct. 8.

The Lady Lancers will first take on O’Fallon Christian at 9 a.m., Republic at 10:45 and Nixa at noon.

“We’ll face some good teams at Ozark this weekend and we hope to improve as a team to gear up for the next few weeks going into Districts,” Head Coach Zach Young said. “Our team is playing at a very high level right now and we’re excited for the weekend!”

The team now has a record of 19-5 and is third in the Suburban West standings only behind Eureka and Windsor (Imperial), but is a perfect 8-0 in Conference play.

Be sure to keep an eye on the Lady Lancers this weekend as they look to bring home some more hardware.
